Audio- Yankees Suck
This week was all about listening to an audio product. Out of the list of podcasts we were provided I chose to listen to 'Yankees Suck'. This was a podcast I had never heard of before so I thought I would give it a listen. Listening to this podcast was weird, as I never usually listen to anything that isn't football related. What I really like about the podcast is the fact it is quite informal, as they use swearing and slang. It is almost like they are talking to us, the listener. Even though this wasn't something I was particularly interested in (Baseball), I was still very engaged in the podcast, and I think that is down to the way they present the content. The use of music and sound effects were very well used within this piece as well, it all flowed so well together. Also the different interviews and views throughout makes it such a broad podcast, you want to carry on listening and find out more as to why they hate the 'Yankees' so much, this was something I did later find out during the podcast. Overall, I really enjoyed listening to this podcast and it was good to broaden my sports listening from football to a different sport.
